Ingredients:

4 pints of Barts ice cream (2 different flavors)

One cup of any topping (ie: chopped oreos, heath bars, etc.)

Instructions:

1. Pack two pints of ice cream into the bottom of an 8 or 9" springform pan.

2. Cover the middle layer evenly with a topping of your choice.

3. Fill the top half of the springform pan with the second flavor and spread evenly.

4. Cover the cake with plastic wrap and let harden for several hours in the freezer.

5. Remove from the pan by first sliding a metal spatula or knife around the edges, to loosen it, and then release the spring form side. Slide the spatula or knife along the bottom of the cake to separate it from the springform bottom.

6. Transfer the cake to a cake pan and freeze it while you prepare the frosting.

Ingredients:

Two cups heavy cream or whipping cream

1/4 cup granulated or confectioners sugar

Instructions:

1. Beat cream and sugar in a chilled mixing bowl.

2. Whip until thick but not buttery, the consistency of whipped cream.

3. Spread the whipped cream onto the sides and top of the cake evenly.

4. To make the cake more decorative put about 1 cup of frosting into a pastry bag with a star point and trim the trim the top and bottom edges of cake.
